12-Week Wellness challenge

Our challenge is quickly coming to a close, only a couple more weeks! Remember to let challenge staff know if you plan to attend the wind up bbq on June 6!

TENTH CHALLENGE

Make a vision board! Tonight we talked about vision boards and how effective they are in instilling the passion to change! Make a vision board for one goal you have and display it proudly! You can use paper and glue with magazines, quotes and pictures.. or go to OPRAH.com and make a digital vision board! Whatever you do, make it count! Earn 30 points!!

NINTH CHALLENGE

Find your balance! Complete your balance wheel if you haven't already done so, and find 3 things that you can change to make your balance wheel a little more balanced! Earn yourself 35 points with this challenge!

EIGHTH CHALLENGE

Keeping outdated medications is an unsafe habit! This week we are encouraging you to clean out your medicine chest! Take all outdated medications (expired, more than one year since dispensed or medication you did not complete!) to the local pharmacy and ask them to dispose of it! DO NOT FLUSH THIS MEDICATION DOWN THE SINK OR TOILET! That is dangerous for our environment! This will earn you 20 points!

WEEK SEVEN

Thank you for your support with our decision to cancel the challenge due to the severe weather warnings, and AMA road warnings! THERE IS NO CHALLENGE THIS WEEK! We wil see everyone next week in Didsbury!

SIXTH CHALLENGE
FLOSS YOUR TEETH DAILY- Dr. Karen Brunner presented us with healthy habits that will help us improve our overall wellness, one of these healthy habits was dental health. Floss your teeth DAILY and earn yourself 30 points!

FIFTH CHALLENGE
HEALTHY POT LUCK DISH - Next week is our pot luck dinner night. Let make this the healthiest pot luck anyone has ever attended! Plan and bring a healthy pot luck dish to earn yourself 20 points!

FOURTH CHALLENGE
PAMPER YOU - We were lucky to have Christa Duquette present tonight to do a bellydancing lesson with us, and the one thing we took from that is that sometimes you have to do something just for you! Do THREE things just for you this week and earn yourself 25 points!

THIRD CHALLENGE
FRIENDS AND FAMILY FITNESS - There is a long weekend this weekend and we hope you find some time to do some fitness with your loved ones. Remember that fitness can be fun... clean the yard, play tag, walk, bike, rollerblade, whatever works for you! Do THREE friends and family fitness activities this week and earn yourself 20 points!

SECOND CHALLENGE
SEND LOVE - send 3 cards or letters to 3 people in your life who are important to you! Let them know they are important and why!

FIRST CHALLENGE
STOP POP - if you drink no pop this week give yourself 10 extra points, if you drink 1 - 5 pops give yourself 5 points, if you drink more than 5 sorry no points for you!
